It is helpful to be familiar with the quiz questions so quiz items will get covered during the LIBBI sessions. It may also be helpful to print the quizzes and use them as a type of checklist while teaching.

Teaching Librarians Access in D2L

Teaching Librarian names are added in D2L and assigned "Online Instructor" roles so that they may add participants, access quizzes, view grades, etc.

To accurately populate the D2L LIBBI course, student names are sent to D2L after drop/adds. If a student signs up for a Composition 102 class after drop/adds, his or her name will not be in the list sent to populate the D2L LIBBI course. So, occasionally a student will not have access to the D2L course and you will need to add the new participant to the LIBBI D2L course.

LIBBI-102COMP-1 Part 1 "Library Proficiency" quiz scores in D2L are pre-assessments and do not count. If, therefore, a student did not have access and was unable to complete them, it is not an issue. However, for Part 2 students must complete the "Exit Exercises," which are attached to University rubrics and become part of the student WPA.
