What are Library Workshops?

In addition to LIBBIs, the library offers Library Workshops throughout the semester, that are available to all students and faculty. These workshops introduce new library products, research tools, and methods designed to facilitate and promote student success in the research process through efficient, optimized use of resources. Workshop topics vary and may include special topics, specific research skills, new library databases, citation management tools, and new library programs or services.

Some library workshops may result from students and group suggestions or requests for additional library instruction on discipline-specific research needs, while others focus on helping students learn about new library products and services.

If you have questions, visit the Library Services desk or contact Professor Myra Bloom at 918-495-7174 or mbloom@oru.edu.
