The Digital Showcase, ORU’s digital repository, continues to expand the global outreach of the University. As of February 19, 2019, the showcase boasts a total of 3,105 documents (articles, theses, full-length books, etc.), which were downloaded 24,932 times in 180 countries.

Significantly, of the 3,105 documents in the showcase, 47 are Spiritus: ORU Journal of Theology articles, which have been downloaded 5,272 times in 114 countries, while in the case of ORU's other journal, The Journal of the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning for Christians in Higher Education, 55 articles have been downloaded 2,973 times in 33 countries. Amazingly, 33 percent of the total downloads are of the articles in these two journals, which represent only 2.6 percent of the entire showcase content, an indication of the potential outreach power of publishing for the University.
