Commentaries in Archive.org

Archive.org is offering a special collection of digitized books called the opens new windowNational Emergency library, which offers selected books that may be borrowed on a temporary basis during the COVID-19 crisis. Among them are Luke and Acts commentaries which may be found by searching for either <Luke commentary> or <Acts commentary>.

Before you can borrow a book from this collection, you must first set up an account in Archive.org. Here are three of the commentaries that may help you with the research paper for this course:

Bible Commentaries

To identify the more scholarly Bible commentaries, use the Bible commentaries series chart in the Bible Commentaries Plus guide. The chart categorizes the commentaries as devotional, pastoral, or academic, with the academic category generally being the most scholarly and therefore the most desirable for use in college research papers.
