EBSCO's AI Insights
EBSCO databases now feature AI Insights, a generative AI tool designed to enhance the research process. When available, the Generate AI Insights button appears in the article record beneath the summary information.
Key Features:
- 2 to 5 concise summaries of key points from the full-text, helping users quickly assess each article's relevance to their research.
- The tool uses a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) method, drawing directly from the article's content to reduce inaccuracies and avoid hallucinations.
- Unlike an article's abstract, which offers insight into how the authors choose to present their work and what they consider important, AI Insights generates a more neutral summary based solely on the article's full text content.
