AI in EBSCO: Powered by Full-Text Evidence
by Myra Bloom, M.L.I.S., M.A. on 2025-06-11T14:06:00-05:00 | 0 CommentsNeed to decide if an article is relevant to your research without reading the whole thing? EBSCO’s AI Insights makes it easy!
The new feature helps you understand research faster by pulling key ideas straight from the full text of academic articles. Simply access an EBSCO database, run a search, and click the Generate AI Insights button (when available). You will get 2-5 key points summarizing the most important information from the full text of the article—not just generic web data or an abstract summary—helping you quickly determine if the article is a good fit for your research.
Note: AI Insights are not available for every article in EBSCO yet. The feature requires publisher permission and is still in beta, but more articles will include AI Insights as it rolls out over time.
