How to Find a Periodical Title?

The ORU library subscribes to more than 32,000 periodicals in a variety of publication media, with most titles available full text online. Online full text titles include links to the full text with options to browse a single issue or search all issues to find an article.

To find a periodical title, search the ORU Journal Finder+.
Some titles are available in multiple formats and/or multiple databases. For online full text, the database(s) with full text will be listed. When a title is available "in-house" in paper format, there will be a link to "Oral Roberts University Library Holdings." Follow the links to what you need.

Search for journals, trade publications and other periodicals

To see if a journal is available in the ORU Library, search the Journal Finder+.Some titles are available in multiple formats and/or multiple databases. How to Find Journals in a Database

Browse and select journal titles (publications) in a database, as shown below.
For example, go to opens new windowMEDLINE with Full Text (EBSCO) or opens new windowCINAHL Complete.

1. In the database, click Publications in the top menu.
2. Key a term, such as epidemiology, in the Browsing text box and mark Match Any Word, or other available option.
3. Click Browse.
4. Click a journal title then search your topic within the journal or browse dates/volumes to select a single issue.
