Translating EBSCOhost Resources
Some library resources offer features that allow you to translate content into another language.
For example, EBSCOhost screens and most articles are presented in English by default. However, you may translate the interface or a full-text article from English into one of the available language options.
The EBSCO interface can be translated into any of the following languages:*

To find articles originally written in a non-English language, use the Advanced Search and select from the Language drop-down menu.
Translating the Interface Language in EBSCO Databases
To change the language of the EBSCOhost interface from English to another language:

Click the MyEBSCO link in the upper-right corner of the screen and sign in, or create an account if needed.

Click the MyEBSCO link, then click My preferences.

Select an interface language from the drop-down menu.

Click Save.
The interface will be refreshed and translated into your selected language.

Translating an Article in EBSCO Databases
To translate the full text (not PDFs) of an article in an EBSCO database:

Search for articles.

From your list of results, under the title of an article, click the Access now button, then select Online Full Text.

Click the Translate icon in the toolbar at the upper right of the page. More than 110 languages are available for translation from English.

To return to English or another language, use the button options at the bottom of the translate panel.
Notes:
- Articles available in HTML format have a translation feature, while PDFs do not.
- If you print, e-mail, or save the full text, it will be delivered in the language of the database. However, you can print the translated text using your browser's Print function.
