Overview

As part of the Library's 3D printing services, training workshops are offered to all ORU faculty and students. These 30-minute workshops will guide users through the process of getting started with the 3D printer and provide some hands-on practice.

Objectives

  • Understand the basics of the 3D printer
  • Find objects for 3D printing
  • Learn how to calculate filament cost for item printed
  • View demonstration then practice getting started
  • Learn how to remove a 3D printed object from the 3D printer
  • Review and sign the 3D Printer User Agreement form
