Overview

As part of the Library's 3D printing services, training workshops are offered to all ORU faculty and students. These 30-minute workshops will guide users through the process of getting started with the 3D printer and provide some hands-on practice.

Objectives

• Understand the basics of the 3D printer
• Find objects for 3D printing
• Learn how to calculate filament cost for item printed
• View demonstration then practice getting started
• Learn how to remove a 3D printed object from the 3D printer
• Review and sign the 3D Printer User Agreement form

Complete a short form to select the session you would like to attend. Upon completion of the training session, attendees will complete the opens new window3D Printing User Agreement Form, acknowledging acceptance and understanding of user terms and responsibilities.

► No prior knowledge or training is needed.
► Training sessions meet at the Library Services Desk.
