Adding 3D/AR/VR Resources in the Library Catalog - Cataloging Virtual & Augmented Reality Websites
Identify the items to be cataloged. Create a list. Check OCLC (our source for cataloging records) to see if records already exist. If no records exist, create a completely new record on our in-house catalog.
For Millennium: Create a new item code to be able to track statistics.
In order for these items to be searched in the Web OPAC as a collection, work with III (our vendor) to create codes for this to happen.
How many items? Fit into library workflow?
OCLC catalog results are searchable in the global WorldCat, catalog the world's largest network of library content and services, with more than 10,000 libraries.
