Search for Books

Use the catalog to search for books and ebooks. Records for ebooks include links to full text.

Catalog

ORU's online listing of books, ebooks, audiobooks, reference materials, faculty reserves, special collections, subscription journal titles, etc. to which ORU users have access. Entries contain bibliographic information about each entry on the WMS system.

You may choose to search an ebook database instead of the library catalog. Two academic ebook databases are listed below.

Ebook Central

Authoritative ebooks in a wide range of subject areas.
TIP: The Bookshelf feature allows you to store ebooks, create notes, highlight text, add Web links, and more. To access or create your personalized bookshelf, click the Bookshelf link in Ebook Central and sign in using your ORU Single Sign-On (SSO). To delete ebook titles, highlights and notes in your bookshelf, use the delete trash icon at the right in your folder.

eBook Collection (EBSCOhost)

A multidisciplinary collection of eBooks including titles in the Christian Librarians collections.

Click a book call number or Library Reserve link to view the library catalog record. To check out a Reserve book, go to the Library Services Desk.
