Printing

There are four Canon printer/copiers, one on each floor of the library, plus a new color printer on the 1st floor.

To print to the Canon printers, you may log on to a computer in the library and sent the print or you can use the Princh system for wireless printing. 

Canon printers

Each computer in the Library has a printer set as the default printer. A small card on the desk under the monitor tells you what mailbox name and number you will need when you go to the printer to release your print job.

Canon copier/scanner/printer

  1. Go to the Canon printer to which your print job was sent (Canon 1 or Canon 2).
  2. Enter cash or swipe your Eagle Card.
  3. Select Access Stored Files.
  4. Select Mailbox.
  5. Search for the mailbox number/name of the computer from which your print job was sent and select it.
  6. Find your document in the list and select it.
  7. Click on Print, then on Start Printing.
  8. When your printing is complete, press Done on the card reader or press coin return.

 

Wireless Printing with Princh

Students can now print from a phone or laptop using the Princh website (print.princh.com) or app. The app can be downloaded from print.princh.com or from the app store of your choice. Princh allows students to pay with any payment method (credit, debit, digital). More information is available at https://princh.com/how-to-print/#webapp

Each printer has an ID which may be needed when sending the print job. (Canon 1: 111313 and Canon 1 Color: 111623)

 

Costs & Payment Methods

Black and White printers (Canons 1, 2, and 3) are available in the ORU Library. 

One color printer (Canon 1 Color) is also available on the first floor of the Library .

  • Black and white: 10¢ per page
  • Color (1-sided): 25¢ per page

How to Pay

Canons

Both Canon printers have a cash box which accepts coins and bills, and an Eagle Card box which you can swipe if you have Eagle Bucks

Princh wireless printing

If you use the Princh app or web site (print.princh.com), you can use the payment method of your choice (credit, debit, Google Pay, or Apple Pay) in the app or web site. 

Wepa refunds

Because the library no longer has a Wepa printer. you may request a refund of any money you deposited in a Wepa account.
