The Cricut

The Cricut Maker is a smart cutting machine that can cut, score, and write on a wide variety of materials, from fabric to cardstock and vinyl.

Accessing and Using the Cricut

To use the Cricut Maker and the other Cricut machines, you must complete five different leveled workshops to determine your access to the Cricut Maker machines and materials. The first workshop is a prerequisite to all the other workshops; however, you can pick and choose between the rest to learn which Cricut machines or projects appeal to you the most.

For example, you cannot learn how to use the Mug Press without taking the first workshop which will cover Cricut basics and working with vinyl, but you can learn how to use the Mug Press without learning how to use the Cricut Heat Press.

The workshops are as follows

  1. Cutting Vinyl
    • Working with the Cricut Maker 3, Permanent and Removable Vinyl, Transfer Tape, Sticky Matts, and Weeding Tools
  2. Heat Press and Mini Heat Press
    • Working with the Cricut Heat Press, HTV (Heat Transfer Vinyl), Weeding Tools, and Butcher Paper
  3. Mug Press
    • Working with Cricut Mug Press, Glass Mugs, HTV for Mugs, Weeding Tools, and Complex Cricut Design Space Designs
  4. Hat Press
