It is with great joy that I serve as Dean of the J.D. McKean Library. I really enjoy working with the students and a great team of librarians. I am surrounded by books, and two of my favorite authors are near me: C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien.

My degrees include the following: B.S.E. in English Education, an M.S.E. in English, and a Specialist degree in Higher Education with an emphasis in English, all from the University of Central Missouri. I have also completed three Masters' degrees from Oral Roberts University including an M.A. in Biblical Literature, an M.A. in Theological and Historical Studies, and an M.A. in Biblical Literature (Advanced Languages concentration). I received my Ph.D. in English from the University of Tulsa.

C.S. Lewis writes in "Is Theology Poetry?," "I believe in Christianity as I believe that the Sun has risen not only because I see it but because by it I see everything else." As I look through the lens of Christianity, everything falls into place and the world takes on meaning.

I do hope to see you soon at our new library!
