Library Update: News

Theology Faculty,

Here is your COTM Spring 2022 update on Library Resources. We were able to purchase a good number of books this year to help support your programs. Here is a summary of the some of the COTM Library news.

  • Theological Librarian Support: This Spring I will continue to lead the library support for the COTM faculty and students. In addition, we have several of our Library faculty who also have theology degrees and are always willing to meet with your students for their research needs, both in-person and online. So we have plenty of help for your students. As always, if you have senior paper or master’s thesis students who need special help, feel free to send them my way.
  • Resources: The tabs on this guide feature some of the exciting new books we were able to acquire with this years budget. As always, if you need something to support your program, feel free to email me and we will see if we can get it.
  • New Videos: We received a recent donation to purchase a series of videos from Hillsdale College that are available to support your course materials. The first cataloged is the Theology 101: The Western Theological Tradition. You can see all the titles here.
  • Digital Showcase: If you have published any recent works in 2021, please let me know. We would love to add either the PDF or a link to your work on our Digital Showcase. See other Faculty works here: COTM on Digital Showcase.
  • Salubritas: Salubriatas: International Journal of Spirit-empowered Counseling is now live on the Digital Showcase! https://digitalshowcase.oru.edu/salubritas/. Congrats to the editors and all who worked on this huge accomplishment. Please remember to share this link on social media and with your colleagues in the field. As we have been with Spiritus, the Library’s Digital Showcase is a grateful partner with you in this venture.

Happy New Year to the COTM faculty and staff. Please let us know if there is anything we can do for you.
